Welcome to Hill House Broken Bow! Located approximately 2 miles north of Hochatown, OK town center, Hill House is just a few minutes drive from the beautiful Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park!
The first thing you will notice when you walk through the front door are the views. The 8 ft. tall wall of windows throughout Hill House brings the serenity and beauty of nature into the cabin. Hill House is located on 10 private acres and backs up to the Ouachita National Forrest. During the rainy season there is a beautiful creek that runs through the property.
Hill House offers the best in terms of design aesthetic and comfort. The open living room boasts luxury with a comfortable leather sofa and chairs in the living room, open fireplace and smart TV.
The large dining table is perfect for family dinners which can be made in the well-appointed kitchen. Wake up to freshly brewed Keurig coffee with complimentary San Francisco Bay coffee pods, cream and sugar. Hill House is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, side-by-side refrigerator and stove/oven as well as full size washer and dryer.
Each bedroom has a king size platform bed with luxury linens and pillows. Both full size bathroom have walk-in showers and we love the eco friendly Public Goods brands for you to check out during your stay.
Things to note:
-You won't find TV's in the bedrooms, that was by design. However you will find great moments, you will find comfort and you will go home rested.
-Access to the loft area is a very steep climb and is probably not suitable for young children.
-There are a variety of wild animals, reptiles and bugs in the forest. We have pest control for the cabin but you will still encounter bugs.
-Fire safety is a must and you must be aware that any misuse of grill, fireplace or fire pit puts yourselves and others in danger. As a guest we ask that you are aware of you are responsible for any damage incurred from misuse fire pit, grill and fireplace.
-Hill House is on a gravel road (like many cabins in Hochatown) up atop a hill with a decent grade driveway. Although we do have a circle drive, towing a boat might not be possible up the hill.
-The outdoor living space is super comfortable but it misses one thing...a TV.
One of our favorite things about Hill House is serenity! The entire property spans nearly 10 acres which backs up to the Ouachita National Forest and is full of pines and hard woods.
The decor throughout Hill House is a mix of Midcentury style and rare beautiful art pieces picked up from around the world.
We can't wait to host you!
